Popular Ghanaian gospel musician Sonnie Badu who is based in the UK in a recent Instagram post has reacted to the current happening in Ghana’s music industry and has stated his wish for Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale after they both had a misunderstanding at the VGMA night last week Saturday.

In his post, he gave an example of how two top musicians in Nigerian “Davido and Wizkid” had similar rivalry but was solved by some elders who sat them down and resolved it and they made them understand Nigeria music must move forward and today, there are buddies again and are smoking the peace pipe ever since.

He also made mention of how ” Fans will always play a part in who is better but once you’re united, those head crushers will disappear ”

In his post, he stated the intention of one of the two Dancehall art Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale who is ever ready to unite with his other counterpart but still trying to reach the other.

He even stated how they could build more reputation for their selves when they both unite and start a tour together

Finally, he wrote “Unite the youth and lift up the flag of GHANA …you 2 are winners, you 2 Have proven to the world that you know what dancehall is, you 2 are kings 👑… I also pray that Ghana football will revive again in this coming AFCON .. #UNITYFORSTONEANDSHATTA #Badu #unityTour

When @davidoofficial and @wizkidayo had their issues the elders sat them down and resolved it. They made them understand Nigeria Music must move forward and Today, they are buddies again … Fans will always play a part in who is better but once you’re united, those head crushers will disappear. In this light as an African/Ghanaian Musician, I reached out to one of them (@stonebwoyb @shattawalenima) and asked one question, do you want to unite? He said yes, I am still trying to get through to the other … Now since you 2 have been stripped off your hard work; which I seem not to still understand, you can unite and start your tour together because both of you are record holders and record breakers. Unite the youth and lift up the flag of GHANA … you 2 are winners, you 2 Have proven to the world that you know What dancehall is, you 2 are kings 👑… I also pray that Ghana football will revive again in this coming AFCON .. #UNTITYFORSTONEANDSHATTA #Badu #unityTour
