Ama K. Abebrese, the 2011 African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) best actress and recent winner of Zimbabwe International Film Festival (ZIFF) award for best actress, stepped out in style for Sunday night’s Screen Nation Awards held at the O2 Indigo, North Greenwich, London.

The fast growing actress was seen in an afro-chic black dress with red detailing designed by Elikem Kumordzie. She stylishly matched it with a red clutch bag designed by Sa4a. Ama was in contention for Favourite West African Actress at the Screen Nation Awards, for her role in the multiple award-winning movie, ‘Sinking Sands’ but lost out to Omotola Jolade.  The two actresses star along each other in the upcoming film, ‘Ties That Bind’, written and directed by Leila Djansi – director/writer/producer of ‘Sinking Sands’.
