Several Ghanaian acts performed at the inaugural ‘Diaspora Calling’ music and art festival headlined by American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and actress Ms. Lauryn Hill. The event, hosted by Lauryn Hill and Tidal X is organised to celebrate music and art from Africans and Africans throughout the Diaspora.
The 3-day series closed on Friday night at the King’s Theatre in Brooklyn, New York with performances by Ghanaian musicians Stonebwoy, E.L, Jojo About as well as Ghana-based Nigerian Afro-pop sensation Mr Eazi.

The concert was streamed live on Tidal. Other performers on the night were Wondaboy (Nigeria), Machel Montano (Trinidad), Stephen ‘Ragga’ Marley (Jamaica), and Paul Bearbrun (Haiti).
