Famed Ghanaian rapper, Jason Gaisie, well known in the entertainment industry as Pappy Kojo, has detailed reason for taking down a collaboration with Reggae-Dancehall artist, Stonebwoy on his new EP dubbed ‘Kanawu.”

According to the ‘Mbesiafo’ hitmaker, the song titled ‘Wetin You Do Me’ had to be pulled down from his new EP a few hours after its release because Def Jam Recordings, which is Stonebwoy’s record label, called to tell him the song wasn’t cleared.

The controversial musician further stated that he had no other choice than to take down the song after the call, adding that he felt bad about it knowing very well his fans will be shocked and disappointed.

”JAY Z called me, that Stonebwoy has called him, that I haven’t cleared the song. Yeah so that’s it ….they called and said that we didn’t clear the song so I think it’s going to be on the next project,” he explained.

When asked why he didn’t clear the song, Pappy said; ”I was communicating with one of his guys, I wasn’t talking to Stone himself because he wasn’t in Ghana. And I think the communication wasn’t really clear. But I felt the same way you guys are feeling but the song is still there so it’ll definitely be on my next project.”

The crooner further described the process of making the song with Stonebwoy as smooth, emphasizing that the ‘Therapy’ is a gentleman who made the making of the song really cool.
