Have your ever made smart purchases of ‘cheap’ item that people see and think it is very expensive?

Yeah, I bought a coat from Primark and changed the buttons. My friends thought it was a designer coat for months; people kept on asking me how much my coat cost me and where they could get it from.

Did you ever buy an item that you took home to find out you didn’t like?
