Terrible work attitude in Ghana making it difficult to achieve excellence – Kojo Soboh

The founder of the Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Awards, Kojo Soboh, has opined that the work attitude in Ghana is far from where it needs to be, emphasizing that it is one of the primary factors holding the nation back from achieving the desired levels of excellence.

According to him, the negative attitude to work in Ghana is impacting the quality of production in the entertainment industry and making it very difficult to achieve excellence. He further described the work attitude of Ghanaians as ‘terrible’ adding that the poor working attitudes have heaped extra burden on him as he has to micromanage every aspect of any production he leads.

Speaking in a yet-to-be-aired interview with Amelly Djosu on Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz, the Executive Director Said, ”Our work attitude in Ghana is terrible, and that’s why we are not able to achieve that kind of level of excellence.”

Kojo further asserted that without an eagle eye on the production crew, especially the local artisans, one’s production may flop. He also indicated that it is disappointing when some people appear to be urgently in need of a job but become unresponsive and negligent once they get it.
