Throwback To A Time When Johnny Rocket Gave A Serious Cause A Platform Through Music
DMV musician Johnny Rocket has always been known to think outside the box with his music and visuals but for one special cause he decided to craft with a deeper meaning than just art. In the single “Survive” he tackles issues of a lack of awareness for sex trafficking of black women in the DMV region of the world which can also viewed upon as an problem globally with the increasing amount of black women who go missing yearly.
He was tired and still is tired of seeing these problems occur so he did his part and crafted a song that ended up garnering awards which helped not only boost his career to another level but also put him in a position to gain a platform that allows him to speak upon societal issues while having credibility to do so.
Currently he just released a single “Catch Em” with 3OhBlack that previews his upcoming EP drop on the 20th on all DSPs. He’s a dope artist and he hopes to continue to gain a good platform to speak upon issues that need awareness.
