ballAll is set for the the finals of the most anticipated basketball competition of the year, the 2010 Sprite Ball. Forty High Schools from 8 regions will  battle for the trophy, cash and fame from december 22-23 at the at El-Wak Stadium in Accra.

There will also be sizzling performances by Trigmatic, Asem And Richie; as well as a big jam at the Boomerang Nite Club to celebrate the 5th edition of the annual event on Thursday December  23.

The schools for the Eastern Region, Akosombo International School, Pope John’s Senior High School and Koforidua Secondary Technical School will feature in the male division with Nkawkaw Senior High School, Akosombo International School and Aburi Girls Senior High School expected to vie for honours in the female division.

Keta Senior High school, Keta Business College and Kpando Technical Institute will represent the Volta Region in the male division whilst Nkwanta Senior High school, Awudome Senior High School and Kadjebi Senior High School make up the region’s representatives in the female division.

The Ashanti Region will be represented by Kumasi Technical Institute, Prempeh College and Opoku Ware Senior High School in the male division with Supreme Senior High School, Kumasi Wesley Girls and Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School in the female division.

Ghana Secondary Technical School, Ahantaman Senior High school and Takoradi Technical Institute will carry high the flag of the Western Region in the male division with Fijai Senior High School, Archbishop Porter Girls’ Senior High School and Shama Senior High School in the female division.

The Central Region will be represented by Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast Technical Institute and Adisadel College in the male division and Aggrey Memorial Senior High school, Apam Senior High School and Insaaniya Senior High School for the female division, whilst Kinbu Secondary Technical Institute, Presbyterian Senior High School (Legon), Armed Forces Secondary Technical School will represent the Greater Accra in the male division with Tema Senior High School, Sacred Heart Institute and Social Advance Institute in the female division.

The winner from both the male and division will receive a prize package worth 1,500 Ghana cedis including cash, trophy and products from the sponsors.
