“Through Marrif International Schools which we are expanding in Ghana, we will connect Ghanaian students to be part of the international Marrif network. Those who study here in Ghana have a right to study in Turkey at any state university and study without paying any tuition fees” he said.

The Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) was established in 2016 by an act of Parliament passed by the Turkish government.

This state foundation’s primary function is to provide high-quality, holistic education and education services and educational aid to young people worldwide.

The foundation’s mission is to carry out comprehensive educational activities throughout the world based on the shared values of humanity and the Anatolian tradition of wisdom as the sole entity authorized to provide educational services abroad on behalf of the Turkish State.

The foundation currently has 363 educational institutions and 51 dormitories spread across the globe. As a result, the TMF oversees institutions in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As expected, most institutions are concentrated in Africa, where there is the greatest need. Maarif is now a global educational institution with over 50,000 students.
