Viasat 1 unveils new drama series, ‘The 5 Brides’ at Media Bar

Viasat 1 media bar 11Viasat 1, on Friday night, unveiled its new TV drama series, ‘The 5 Brides’ to members of the Ghanaian media and partners, at the Citizen Kofi Entertainment Center, during the Viasat 1 quarterly media bar for the second quarter of the year . Chief Executive Officer of Viasat 1, Charlotte Gustavsson, was optimistic that ‘The 5 Brides’ will strike a chord with viewers when it premieres on Monday, July 2.  She commented,  “With the introduction of The 5 Brides, we believe our viewers will be entertained and educated at the same time.”   Produced by Venus Films in conjunction with Viasat 1 Television, ‘The 5 Brides’ tells the story of five young married women, and the unique problems that characterize their marriage lives. Their lives revolve around the joys and angers of love, betrayal, deceit and what goes on in a typical Ghanaian marriage or love setting. The story also touches on controversies, innocence and issues relating to parenting.   Patrons at the media bar had the opportunity to watch the first episode of the series as well as interact with a few of the cast members that were present.  ‘The 5 Brides’ features a blend of young, contemporary and fresh movie stars including Paulina Oduro, Chantelle Asante, Regina Nelson, Kalsoume Sinare, Julia Clement, Princess Shyngle, Kwabena Danso and Kafui Danku.
