Visionary Ghanaian Entrepreneur Kwabena Boateng Launches Groundbreaking Tech Hub and Youth Training Program in Tema

a Ghanaian entrepreneur and technologist who has embarked on a pioneering initiative to propel Ghana’s tech landscape forward. Boateng’s extraordinary journey from his Ghanaian roots to his global experiences in technology and oil & gas positions him as a compelling voice in the nation’s tech ecosystem. His latest venture, the AI Robotics and Tech Innovation Hub in Tema, Ghana, is a testament to his commitment to empowering Africans in the tech industry, with a vision to utilize the ‘Metaverse Tech Ecosystem for Sustainable Development.’

Boateng’s dedication to leveraging technology to bridge the gap between the diaspora and their homeland is demonstrated through the African Diaspora Nation, an organization he founded to foster growth, innovation, and collaboration. Through strategic partnerships with esteemed leaders such as Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Boateng continues to drive collective progress and advance Ghana’s technological capabilities. He was recently appointed as Vice President, Member and Geographic Activities of the IEEE Computer Society. In this role he provides leadership with a focus on member-related activities worldwide, programs, support and growth.

Located in Tema Community 25, the AI Robotics and Tech Innovation Hub provides invaluable resources, mentorship, and global connectivity essential for success in the digital age. Serving as a catalyst for innovation and economic growth, the hub offers Ghanaians opportunities to excel in the ever-evolving tech industry.

In line with its mission to empower Ghana’s youth, the hub will host a special training program on April 3rd, 2024, at 10 am. The workshop aims to equip Ghanaian youth with essential tech skills, preparing them for future challenges and opportunities.
