Watch: Prez Nana Akufo-Addo takes first jab of Covid-19 Vaccine on Live TV
His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo-Addo has taken the first jab of the Covid Vaccine on live TV.
In his address to the nation Sunday night, Nana Akufo-Addo stated that the exercise was to assure Ghanaians that the vaccine is safe.
In the company of the first lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, they received the first dose of the AstraZaneca vaccine at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
Ghana received 600,000 doses of the world’s first delivery of coronavirus vaccines from the United Nations-backed COVAX initiative on Wednesday, February, 24, 2021.
