We spend all our money trying to look good for the cameras- Patience Ozokwor Details Reason Actors resort to ‘begging’ When Sick
Celebrated Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor has recently detailed reasons why some of her colleagues seek financial support on social media during failing health conditions.
According to her, many of her fellow actors make decent money while they are active and working in the industry, however, their costly lifestyle, which the public expects of them, causes them to spend a lot of money in order to maintain their status as celebrities.
While speaking in a one-on-one interview, the renowned actor blamed heavy spending and flamboyant lifestyle as factors responsible for their begging when they fall sick and are helpless.
The actress who received the AMVCA Merit Award not too long ago asserted that many people feel actresses are wealthy because of the clothes they wear on the red carpet, hence, they do not assist them.

This is why when they become ill, they must shoulder the weight alone, and when they have nothing left, they must resort to begging on social media.
Speaking about the reason why actors come out to beg for help, Patience Ozokwor says that most of these actors spend their life savings on sickness when they start having the hope that they will be better. However, when the resources get exhausted, they come out to beg for help.
The actress’ comment comes after some actors were slammed for begging when they fell on hard times.
Recall that some actors have come online to beg for financial help from the public due to their failing health conditions. The recent actor who made headlines after coming out to beg for financial help was John Okafor also known as Mr. Ibu.
