One of the largest international talent scout competitions for all kinds of unusual original performance acts is set to hit Nigeria as registration for World Peace Ambassador Nigeria is underway. Over 20, 000 acts from across the country are expected to battle prestigious titles as well as an opportunity over $100,000 in prizes and scholarships for career enhancement, and international leadership development and social network training.
There will also be comprehensive winner’s package which includes as festival slots (Including representing Nigeria at the biggest festival in Asia I rock), UK tour exposing their talents to over 40,000 people and a contract deal, with up to £20,000 investment.
World Peace Ambassador Nigeria is an avenue to recruit unusual talents and mould them as Ambassadors for World Peace, Youth Development and Enlightenment. It aims is to bring about lasting values, positive and lasting developmental changes in Nigeria, and indeed Africa, through encouraging and promoting youths with leadership charisma, talent and passion to serve the society, and inspire others to participate. By providing the necessary platforms and training, the winner of the competition will help champion, awaken and internalize the laudable cause of social responsibility by taking the message to the public, as well as to organizations and the World at large.
According to the organizers, the competition would provide winners a chance to perform live in front of Talent coaches and Management CEOs from diverse sectors in Hollywood, BET International, NAACP African Ambassador Project and the country’s top producers, Label execs, promoters and DJs. Contestants would be judged on boldness, eloquence, conviction, articulation, and innovation. Selected finalists would go on to compete at the National Grand Final and the David and Jonathan Entertainment Festival.
