Yaw Tog named BET’s Amplified Artist Of The Month

Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog has been named BET Amplified artist of the month, which identifies and elevates stars on the rise.

BET made the announcement on Twitter Friday, with a pic of Yaw Tog with the caption,BET International is proud to announce @YAWTOG_ as our April “BET Amplified International” Artist of The Month! BET Amplified is our seal of approval on the next big thing in music! Stay tuned to our social accounts to see more of Yaw Tog throughout the month of April!

Launched in January 2020, BET Amplified is BET Music’s stamp of approval on the next big thing in the music industry. The Black Entertainment Television Network will introduce Yaw Tog to its core audiences globally through BET Jams, BET Her, BET Soul, and BET International channels in Africa, UK, France, and South Korea.

Artists are selected based on criteria including their unique sound, social media presence, and projected impact on the music industry and entertainment industry at large.
