YXNG K.A. Releases Thrilling Single “Not Perfect

Today, North Philadelphia rapper and rising talent to watch, YXNG K.A. releases his first single this year “Not Perfect” via Double O / Interscope Records. With his fearlessly honest approach to East Coast rap, YXNG K.A. highlights his prodigy-like melodic skills and range on this brand new track. The thrilling record marks the first new music from the rising star, though definitely not his last as he gears up to continue to prove himself as one of the most affecting and poignant rappers of the moment with more music to come this year.

Raised in the Abbottsford Homes family development, YXNG K.A began exploring music as an emotional outlet and escape from his troubled surroundings before he started releasing his steady string of hits. “Coming up in the projects, you grow up different and you learn fast,” he says. “There’s always violence and drugs, and if you don’t adapt you’re gonna be lost.” As his prodigy-like ability became overwhelmingly apparent, YXNG K.A’s breakthrough single “Forever Committed” led to his signing with Interscope Records in May 2019. The following February, he made his label debut with “Soul Bleed,” an emotionally raw single showing off his tremendous range, melodic flow, and fearlessly honest lyrics. Released in May via Double O Records/Interscope Records, his debut EP, Baby Reaper spotlights the phenomenal talent that’s earned recognition from heavyweights like 21 Savage, Meek Mill, and many others. Baby Reaper also landed YXNG K.A his major-label deal with Interscope Records just months after creating his first song. After two breakout years in a row, with acclaimed releases like REAPER SZN EP (featuring fellow stars J.I.. Lil Tjay, and Don Q), and REAPER SZN (Deluxe), YXNG K.A.’s rise has only just begun.
