Zeta Phi Beta Sorority sect in Ghana sponsor lunch for Kwabenya Police
On June 27, members of the international historically black Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc celebrated a Global Day of Service around the world.
A local sect of the organization known as the Ghana Zetas, celebrated the day by sponsoring lunch for the Kwabenya Police force, for their dedicated work as essential workers.
Shannan Akosua Magee of the Ghana Zetas thanked Commander A.S.P Shine Zoiku, for the department’s excellent service and keeping the community safe for residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The officers were treated to a delicious lunch of local delicacies catered by West Inn Restaurant.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 16, 1920, in the United States. As the organization celebrates its centennial year, they seek to promote the sorority’s core values: Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer womanhood. The members of the Ghana Zetas are Kisha Hugh-Abban, Shermaine Moore-Boakye, Lorna JnBaptiste, and Shannan Akosua Magee.
