If I had received a car for my birthday, y’all would’ve said I slept around for it- Efia Odo responds to trolls

Receiving a car as a birthday present seems to have become the norm for Ghanaian celebrities after Ace Broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah and Entrepreneur, Hajia 4 Real both received Range Rovers as birthday presents this year.

Efia Odo who recently celebrated her birthday and did not receive a car present  seems not to be catching a break from social media users.

In tweet, the actress responded to critics saying that had she received a car as a birthday present, the narrative would have been totally different for her.

“I didn’t get a car for my birthday but if I did y’all would’ve been the same people saying that I had to fuck for it. It’s so sad that y’all worship material things to the core that of someone doesn’t have it you make fun of them. Pathetic miserable people,” she tweeted Tuesday afternoon
