30,000 for land, 20,000 for Taxi- TT breaks down how he spent Bawumia’s money

Veteran actor, Psalm Adjetefio, popularly known as TT, has given a break down of how he spent the GHC 50,000 donation that was made to him by His Excellency, the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

In September, 2021, after news of his inability to pay rent broke, the Vice President, upon seeing the video, asked his aide to present GHS30,000 to pay for the actor’s rent for five years, plus an additional GHS20,000 for his general upkeep.

However, in a recent turn of events, TT, on Monday night, was recorded in a 3 minutes audio, begging Media Personality, MzGee to help him with some  “leftovers” from her kitchen since the support he had been receiving from individuals stopped coming after Vice-president Bawumia’s public donation to him.

Since the audio made it social media, there have been concerns on where the money he was gifted by the Vice President went.

Speaking in an interview on Takoradi-based Empire FM, TT revealed that he had invested the money.

“I sat down quietly and taking note of the situation, that the whole world has got their eyes and tongue on the money so I should be very careful how I use that money. So what did I do, land has become very very expensive now, where we are, and I hear other places, right now, a plot of land is costing 30,000 cedis; so I got two plots of land which I paid for one with cash straight away. I’m yet to pay for the other one,” TT explained.

He added;

“My son says he wants to be a driver, he’s been to driving school but for two years he’s been at home and he was becoming frustrated. So I told him something will happen. I will buy him a car. Meanwhile,I didn’t know where the money is coming from, so when the Vice President gave me the money, after putting that 30,000 Cedis in that plot of land, I used the remaining 20,000 cedis and said this is the time for me to do something for my son, so I bought a Ghana-used taxi in a very good condition for him. He has now registered at the station where we are and he plies that road.
