Without further ado, here are the best creams for healthy acne treatment.

What makes an Acne Cream Good?

Before recommending products, let us take a step back and see what exactly can cause an acne outbreak. When your skin pores get clogged with excess oil and dead skin cells, it creates the perfect medium for bacteria growth and buildups that lead to skin inflammation. The first phase is the development of what people call comedonalacne (whiteheads and blackheads). In some cases, these can develop complications and turn into severe inflammatory forms such as nodules, cysts, andpimples. Therefore, a good acne cream should accomplish the following roles:
  • Pore opener. Unclogging the skin pores and cleaning whatever is inside is the best way to prevent them from becoming clogged in the first place. The best-provenpore opener compound known is salicylic acid.
  • Anti-bacterial agent. The best way to treat the inflammations on the skin is by removing the bacteria that caused the acne outbreak. An ingredient with great anti-bacterial properties is benzoyl peroxide. Another equally viable compound is sulfur, due to its anti-microbial properties.
  • Oil controllers. If you want to prevent any future acne outbreaks, you must prevent your glands from producing excess oil.
With that being said, let us see what the market has to offer in terms ofanti-acne cream.

Keeva Organics Tea Tree Oil Acne Cream

Let us kick off this list with this formula from Keeva Organics. Because tea tree oil serves as its active ingredient, it is an extremely potent anti-bacterialagent that will nip your acne in the bud. The presence of salicylic acid will encourage proper and healthy pore unclogging by getting rid of the dead skin cells. Furthermore, it also eliminates any whiteheads, blemishes, andblackheads, a few common side effects of experiencing acne outbreaks. Along with the tea treeoil and salicylic acid, the formula includes powerful anti-oxidants such as sesame seedoil, grape seed extract, olive oil and shea mark, which will clear the texture of your skin and shrink any dark marks. However, it is not recommended for people with sensitive skins, as it might cause some allergies to occur. All in all, Keeva brought forward a powerful cream that will help you manage your acne.

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Gel

While it might be tempting to justpick out at your outbreak, this method is highly unrecommended as it could only worsen your symptoms. What you could do, instead, is undergo a nightly exfoliation with 5-8 % glycolic acid to remove any dead skin cells that clog the pores. Next up, you can try this acne spot gel from Neutrogena, as it contains a healthy amount of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. Include this in your daily routine, andyou should get rid of the acne in no time.

Clearasil Daily Clear Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream

Clearasil is a tried and tested acne treatment cream that will reduce the size of your outbreak in as little as a few days. With 10 % benzoyl peroxide as its active ingredient, this cream will safely and healthily unclog your pores, and prevent the development of pimples, whiteheads, and cystic lesions at the same time. It contains no fragrance or alcohol, which makes it ideal for people with sensitive skin.

Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1 % Acne Treatment

This final product comes in the form of a gel that contains mainly retinoid Adapalene, a compound that prevents the pores from getting blocked by reducing the development and growth of keratin surface skin cells. Furthermore, it also acts as a potent anti-inflammatory agent that will soothe and heal blemishes and any red spots, and as a powerful exfoliator. The cream will be easily absorbed by the skin thanks to its thin consistency, so you can safely apply it right before leaving the house.

Conclusion

Acne is one of the most annoying skin issues that one can encounter, and the fact that it tends to appear in the worst possible moments only adds to the frustration. Thankfully, there are lots of useful anti-acne products of the market. Make sure to read through our list, and you will find something suited to your needs. It’s also worth seeking the help of a medical professional, via online pharmacies like The Independent Pharmacy or your local doctor, for example. They will be able to offer advice and suggest treatments based on a thorough consultation and assessment of your condition.”]]>
