Ebo Taylor Rocks Alliance Francaise

Published

on

Alliance Francaise was treated to riveting performances by Ebo Taylor and his band on the eve of Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah’s birthday. It was a night where the highlife groove reigned and folks of all ages took to the dance floor.

The energy kept rising with every set. Professor John Collins and his Local Dimensions band gave the audience some folksy rooted highlife tunes. With their stripped down string-heavy set they set the stage for ET Mensah and the Tempos Chapter II band to fill the air with classic sing alongs like “All for you,” “Nkε bo baa ya”.
By the time Ramblers International Band took the stage, the crowd was ready to up and dance. The party continued with Ebo Taylor’s fun-filled set that brought highlife from the past into the present and future. Taylor mixed tunes from his acclaimed Love and Death and his recently-released Appia Kwa Bridge albums.
TTD Media Group, an emerging PR/events and management company who brought you M.anifest live at Alliance Francaise last year organized the event. The company’s Operations Manager Mawuli Tettey says to expect more.
“TTD Media has so far produced small to medium-sized events but we’re currently working on some bigger and equally memorable shows that will thrill Ghanaians,” says Tettey. “I urge them to stay tuned.”
Media partner for the event was Citi FM.
