21 Savage is mourning the death of his younger brother Terrell Davis, who was reportedly killed in the United Kingdom on Sunday.

The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, reacted to the news on Instagram Monday.

“can’t believe somebody took you baby bro,” he wrote. “I know I took my anger out on you I wish I could take that (expletive) back”

Along with the caption, Abraham-Joseph shared two photos: one of him and Davis as kids and another of Davis as an adult.

The rapper’s tribute came hours after the Daily Mail reported that Davis, 27, was stabbed to death the night before, following an argument in Brixton, a district of London. A rep for the Metropolitan Police told USA TODAY that the department has not yet released the identity of the victim.

According to the tabloid, Davis was also a rapper, performing under the name TM1way.

USA TODAY has reached out to a rep for Abraham-Joseph for further comment.

This isn’t the only loss Abraham-Joseph has experienced. According to a 2016 profile of the rapper in The Fader, his brother Quantivayus Joseph was shot and killed in a botched drug deal. The magazine reports the rapper got a dagger tattoo on his face in honor of his brother.

Abraham-Joseph was born in the United Kingdom and brought to the United States as a child. In February 2019, ICE spokesman Bryan Cox confirmed to USA TODAY that Abraham-Joseph was placed in federal immigration custody following a “targeted operation” in Atlanta. He said Abraham-Joseph overstayed his U.S. visa, which expired in 2006.
