Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has entreated Ghanaian musicians to make educational and inspirational music that can empower kids.

Her concerns come after searching and failing to find inspirational music targeted at kids to play at her recently held Glaucoma Foundation final Essay Competition.

The event, which was held at her Just Like Mama Complex, saw brilliant kids who came to participate in the essay competition.

After the event, Yvonne explained that she was looking for music to play to the kids to empower them but couldn’t find any.

“So guys I just finished with my essay conception and I was looking for a song that I can play to empower and inspire the kids but I couldn’t find any,” she said in a video posted on blogger Kobby Kyei’s page.

She continued; “Ghanaian musicians, the danceable tunes are too many, we need songs that the kids and listen to and learn from. So please make some very educative, inspiring good music that the kids can listen to as well.”
