Zinedine Zidane: the idol of millions and the role model

Published

on

No pretentiousness and desire to assert oneself at the expense of others — this is about Zinedine Zidane. This legendary field player and football coach is an example of a man who exudes self-confidence and achieves his goals due to his sense of purpose. Many people still follow the teams to which Zizou is involved and regularly study their today football score.

His most passionate fans idolized him after France won the 1998 World Cup. The Parisians, who were celebrating the triumph of their top team, shouted slogans calling for Zidane to be elected President of France. Just imagine, Franck Ribery himself, having got into the French national team, looked at Zinedine as an unattainable idol. Probably the best compliment Zizou received was from Sir Alex Ferguson: “To win the Champions League, I need Zidane and 10 logs.” This guy is that good. Incredibly, Zinedine Zidane stands out even against the background of most outstanding footballers, as he has:

  • intelligence;
  • technique;
  • perseverance and diligence.

The last two qualities helped him improve in the world of football. After a situation that happened to the coach of Cannes, Zinedine honed his head playing and developed his left non-working leg. Subsequently, Zidane needed these abilities in his debut match for the French national team, where he scored 3 goals. A few years later, the same head hits allowed the French to win the World Cup (so far the only one on their account). A hard worker, a master of his craft and a virtuoso — all this can be said about Zidane. We are sure that today football fans would give a lot to watch live football games with Zinedine and rejoice at the victorious score.

He was admired by the stars

Zinedine Zidane is a modern phenomenon in the football world. Even after he ended his football career and became a coach, Zizou hasn’t changed, remaining the same idol and standard for thousands of fans and players.

In 1998, when Zidane won the World Cup, Karim Benzema was only 10 years old, and Cristiano Ronaldo was only 13. These children have become world football stars and are now being trained by their longtime idol. Surely not all those people who played with him in Real were rooting for France then, but it is simply impossible not to respect this brilliant player. All his achievements will not fit in one article, because Zizou has a lot of achievements, both team and personal ones.
