I tried committing suicide with a rat poison- Funny Face

Comedian and actor, Funny Face has admitted that he once tried to commit suicide with rat poison.

In an interview with 3FM, he claimed that he had already gone home at the time after getting assistance from the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

However, Funny Face said he had a difficult time processing his grief after the passing of both his father and sibling.

“My brother died, and they broke that news to me at the psychiatric hospital. That news made me feel like I wanted to die,” he said.

Funny Face also claimed that was the occasion when he was robbed at gunpoint in his house and only left with a pressing iron, and that is where the state of depression started to come in.

Funny face revealed that his manager was the one who stayed with him through out the period, advising him and helping him to resolve and live better.

“There will be somebody you trust, don’t give up on the person. Trust them, speak to them and listen to them. For me, that was my manager,” he urged.
