Camidoh issues apology, retracts smoking defense statement
Ghanaian Afrobeats artist Camidoh has apologized and retracted his previous comments defending smoking.
During an interview with Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning, Camidoh argued that smoking might not be inherently harmful, comparing it to the smoke produced while cooking kenkey. He suggested that smoking could be subjective and not necessarily damaging, depending on individual circumstances.

However, in a recent tweet, Camidoh acknowledged his mistake, calling his analogy “poor” and “dumb.” He apologized for his earlier comments and retracted his defense of smoking, expressing genuine regret for his statements.
