The Next NDC government will set a creative arts fund to offer financial support to start-ups and existing creative enterprises – Kafui Danku

Renowned Ghanaian actress and film producer, Kafui Danku has announced that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) if voted into power come December 7, will establish a creative arts fund aimed at supporting individuals within the creative industry.

During her address at the NDC Youth manifesto launch held at the UPSA auditorium on August 12, the actress who has starred in several movies including ‘Any Other Day’, 4 play, amongst others encouraged those involved in the creative arts to cast their votes for the NDC, emphasizing the party’s commitment to investing in their growth and artistic endeavors.

She further mentioned that the NDC plans to create a state-of-the-art filming studio to enhance content quality and align it with international standards.

“A creative arts funds will be instituted to offer sustainable financial support to start-ups and existing creative enterprises…the upcoming elections is an opportunity for the creative people to choose a government that cares, a government that would invest in their development.

“The NDC government plans to empower young artistes and facilitate the export of culture and artistic growth and services. John Mahama would also set up a world class studio where we can film quality content to match up with global content,” she said.
