In the third-place playoff, Newtown 11 secured a 2-1 win on penalties against 441 from Nima after their match ended 1-1 in normal time. Both teams put on a spectacular performance, with Newtown eventually clinching third place.

The event, themed “Football for Unity, Football for Peace,” saw 16 teams from various communities come together to promote peaceful elections ahead of the December polls in Ghana, with a grand prize of GH₵10,000 at stake.

However, the winners, Fadama 133, took home a total of GH₵15,000 after award-winning dancehall musician Livingstone Etse Satekla known as Stonebwoy donated GH₵10,000 to the top three teams, with Sabon Zongo receiving GH₵3,000 while third place Newtown received GH₵2,000 from the donated total amount.
