Meet The GirlsForget ‘The View’! Ghanaian television is about to witness a new talk show/pseudo reality TV show with four unique, intelligent and eloquent ‘girls’ starting 9.30 tonight on eTV Ghana. ‘Meet the Girls’ is an interesting format that mixes the pseudo-lives of the four stars with a talk show with the girls and a guest. Within the 3O minute’s duration of the show, the girls ask questions on issues ranging from lifestyle, fashion and politics to the entertainment sides of their guests.

‘Meet The Girls’ is a fun-filled show that revolves around the four girls. These beautiful girls drive the show with their own unique personalities, attitudes and attributes with which they seek to completely exhaust the guest or issues up for discussion.  According to the producers of the show, the idea behind having four presenters is that these girls are “living together” but each has her own live separate from the others. They all have their own fears and their own dreams. These innate qualities and characteristics define how they relate to one another, their guests as well as how they respond to the topic of the day.

The individual personalities of the girls could be best described as: funky but affable, mischievous even saucy (she handles all the scandals) ; sweet, friendly, soft, smart- the guest’s favourite (She’s safe. Well, almost); corporate, articulate, sharp (witty, and very unpredictable); and the diva, fashion conscious, sexy- (always looking extra hot, she comes prepared).  The girls will use their strong personality traits to endear themselves to the audience as they come to know and appreciate them for what they stand for and how they enter the lives of their guests.

Guests will include local and international celebrities of all fields and professions.  Guests will pay the girls a visit in their “home” and engage in 30 minutes of witty on news, expert information, family, romance, health, fashion and general entertainment. Of course you can have a show with four young ladies and not have your measure of gossip and catfights.

So who are the girls? Lisa Sowa is a sales executive and aspiring actress. She is a Diva who is fabulous in every sense. Nana Ayensua is a natural born extrovert. She is the mother of the house. A trained broadcaster, Nana is Sweet, friendly, soft, smart the guest’s favorite. Joyce Gyebi is a theatre arts degree holder. Jay is a creative tank. Presently a client service executive, she is very corporate minded, articulate, sharp, witty, and very unpredictable. And then there is Frost Asiedu, an actress and an Advertising Executive. She is a polished diamond; funky but affable. She can be very mischievous and she handles all the scandals.

‘Meet The Girls’ premieres tonight and would be aired 9:30 on Thursdays with repeats at 12:00pm on Sundays.
