Why i changed my stage name from A.I. – Ayisi
Ghanaian Hiplife artist Ayisi, formerly known as A.I., recently revealed the motivation behind his name change.
He explained that the abbreviation A.I. was often associated with Artificial Intelligence, leading to potential confusion among fans.
“Nowadays everything is A.I.,” he noted, expressing concern that his identity as an artist might be overshadowed by the term’s widespread use.
Ayisi clarified that his previous stage name, A.I., was simply derived from his real name, Ayisi, using the first and last letters. His decision to switch to Ayisi aims to avoid any ambiguity and ensure clarity in his artistic identity.
