Akuapem Poloo convicted by court over naked photo with son

Actress Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has been convicted by the Accra Circuit Court over naked pictures with her son.

The conviction comes after she posted a naked picture with her son on Instagram celebrating his seventh birthday.

The sentencing of the actress who appeared before the court in a black dress and black nose mask with her hands folded whilst she sobs to plead guilty has been postponed by the presiding judge, Ms Christiana Cann.

In court Wednesday, the actress pleaded guilty to all three charges and was convicted on her own plea by the court presided over by Christina Cann.

She has been remanded into custody to undergo a pregnancy test before her sentencing.

The actress was therefore remanded into police custody to appear on Friday (April 16, 2021) with the results of the pregnancy for sentencing. Akuapem Poloo is likely to be handed jail time, community service, or a fine based on the presiding Judge’s discretion.

Background

The actress was facing charges of publication of obscene materials, engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity, and engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.

This was after she published a photo of herself and her son on his birthday.

But after several criticisms on the post, the actress apologized for her actions.

T-Ben Miller has come for the girls again with a new single. This time he comes as a “Soldier”, the title of the song. As the Valentine’s Day season approaches and the world is celebrating February as the month of love, it is appropriate to find the song that syncs well with the ladies.
