The search saw thousands of Ghanaian teens opening up a world of happiness and creativity in music. The initiative is a high school music contest which brings together a strong collaboration of raw talent and professional expertise to release Coca-Cola’s maiden edition of a Ghanaian Hit single.
Teens all over the country were invited to compose, produce and perform their version of a Coke inspired song bringing alive their expressions of happiness. The creation was aimed to unearth the creativity in the youth which will in turn be amplified by Coca-Cola through a comprehensive publicity campaign.
The 8 finalists have worked closely with mentors Dcryme, Okyeame Kwame, Samini and Gyedu Blay Ambolley to enhance their individual raw talents. These four professional ambassadors of “Coke Hit single” have coached, supported and directed the teens from the four selected zones to dial up the local flavour and release a uniquely creative piece peculiar to the youth of that zone.
The public will hear these songs for the first time on Friday as the finalists gather to battle it out. Which song or region will have the winning Coke Hit Single?
