Ghanaian Radio Presenter, Andy Dosty has expressed his disappointment at the way the people of Kumasi behaved during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominees jam that was held held in Kumasi over the weekend.
Speaking to DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, the Hitz FM presenter, who is also a board member of the awards scheme said that he wasn’t happy with the turn out of events.
“Nothing is cool actually, I’m disappointed in my own Kumasi people, the crowd is just too much, people are being pushed here and there, lots of cables being destroyed, I think security is just not enough, so I advise we get more back up,” Andy said.
When asked by the host for his opinion on this year’s VGMA nominations and the various categories, Andy answered saying that he couldn’t speak more on the issue
“it’s quite unfortunate I’m a board member, so I can’t say much about this, we all have different opinions and we need learn to understand things before concluding” he added.
The 20th Edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is set to come off in May, 2019.
