Bofoakwa Tano faces Nsoatreman FC in 2024 MTN FA Cup final

The final match of this season’s MTN FA Cup has been confirmed to be held at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon on Sunday, June 23rd.

Competing in the final will be Nsoatreman FC and Bofoakwa Tano, both vying for their first major trophy.

After an impressive journey that included a win against Legon Cities in the quarterfinals, Bofoakwa Tano advanced by defeating the reigning champions Dreams FC. 

Nsoatreman FC now play in the final. As such, a new champion will be crowned at this year’s cup.

Bofoakwa Tano hopes to make a big return to the cup final 38 years after their last appearance in 1983, when they lost to Great Olympics, while Nsoatreman FC aims to make history with their first major trophy.

The final gives the winner the chance to compete in the CAF Confederation Cup, which adds even more significance to the high-stakes encounter beyond the coveted trophy and the substantial monetary award.
