BoyOctave’s diversity in afrobeats music aims to make a Change.

Eugene Amponsem Boakye is the name and I hail from sekondi western region of Ghana.

I am an exuberant musician and producer who puts in effort to accomplish and fulfill a dream of becoming the finest artist from Africa with the help of my new family Legendary Records.

The church has also keenly shaped me to become an instrumental piece in my music career. 

Most often i am inspired by the likes of WizKid, Nat King Cole, Sarkodie, Ace Hood, Maleek Berry…

My approach and process to music is always smooth certainly because of my melodic compositions which easily tells the distinct sound i export; credibly my dad’s saturday special playlists containing songs from West Life, R Kelly , UB 40, Boys To Men, Michael Jackson, Nat King Cole, Bob Marley etc. influenced my understanding of sounds and melodies.

It has been a progressive journey so far making music with some amazing artists who are stepping into the spotlight and a few who are already at the top (Asakaa boys,Yaw Tog, Quamina Mp, Afezi Perry, Kofi Jamar, Erixrush, Vondee, MKay, Bimma, Exo Xan, Sirgy, McRay, Sachaforever, Kelvin Meekell, Ntelabi, Ben K) which I can’t wait for my fans and the world to hear and enjoy some “Grandpa Made it” productions, but before that I present to you “CHANGE” .Stream HERE
