Celine Dion ‘no longer has control of her muscles’ – Sister reveals

Claudette Dion, sister of Grammy award-winning Canadian singer, Celine Dion has disclosed that the iconic singer is grappling with a health condition that has left her with diminished control over her muscles.

While providing a grim update on the ‘I’m Alive’ hitmaker’s ongoing fight with stiff-person syndrome, Claudette revealed that her sister is having difficulty controlling some muscle movement.  

It will be recalled that the Canadian music star a year ago, revealed she had been diagnosed with the incurable condition which causes muscle stiffness and spasms. After cancelling tour dates she gave fans an emotional update, saying she was suffering spasms that affected “every aspect” of her life, causing difficulty when she walked and stopping her using her vocal cords properly.

However, Her sister, Claudette Dion in a new French-language interview with Canadian outlet 7 Jours, said;

 “She’s working hard, but she doesn’t have control over her muscles. What breaks my heart is that she’s always been disciplined. She’s always worked hard. Our mother always told her, ‘You’re going to do it well, you’re going to do it properly.’ It’s true that in both our dreams and hers, the goal is to return to the stage. In what capacity? I don’t know.”
