Dr. Dre to Launch new music streaming service
Dr. Dre’s company Beats Electronics is launching a new music streaming service tentatively named “Daisy,” the company announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Musician Trent Reznor has been named Chief Creative Officer, while executive Ian Rogers is the CEO of the new company. According to Jimmy Iovine, who is a coowner in Beats with Dr. Dre, said that the new service will focus on curating streaming music for fans, as opposed to the current ala cart/subscription models. Beats is looking to expand their offerings beyond hardware, since the acquisition of streaming service MOG, which is the technology that will power Daisy.]]>
