<![CDATA[The Du Bois Center comes alive on Friday December 28, as the first ever “Natural Beauty Bazaar™” take place. The event will offer a unique opportunity to entrepreneurs, companies and individuals who espouse a natural and wellness focused lifestyle to mingle, make sales and expose their brands to buyers and prospective customers alike.
The theme for the maiden edition is: “Us, in all our natural glory“. A select number of vendors in skin care, hair care, accessories and healthy food will be present to display their products. There will also be the 2nd edition of the “Meet my curls™” natural hair meet up. Selected vendors and participants include Hair & Skin care, Accessories, Packaged Local Foods and Food.
Program Outline:
2 pm- Product and food bazaar
4 pm- Musical and spoken word performances
6 pm- Meet my curls (theme: Our hair, our choices)
There is currently a competition running on Facebook: Flaunt your fro. Participants are uploading pictures of themselves exhibiting their natural hair styles onto Facebook. The most liked images will be awarded prizes on the day of the event.]]>
