Ghanaian midfielder, Sulley Muntari who received a gash in his leg during the final leg of the World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Tuesday evening is not allowing his injury to bring his spirit down. The player who received 4o stitches for the injury has echoed the resolve of his teammates in bringing honour to Ghana on the world stage by saying, “We were ready to die for Mother Ghana”.
His official twitter page also tweeted “We are through and on our way to Brazil. Thank you all for your prayers and support #WorldCup2014 ✌️”, after the game.
