Former lovers, Edem and Confidence faceoff at VGMA

After their acrimonious public split made the headlines in 2010, much has not been heard about the relationship between former lovers, Confidence Haugen and rapper, Edem. However the two came face to face at Saturday night’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards when Confidence, a host for the red carpet event, had to interview Edem. If there is still any bitterness between the two ex-lovers, it certainly was made obvious as Confidence smiled all through the interview. She referred to the rapper by his former name, Ayigbe Edem and Edem was quick to correct her about the name change. Confidence then replied, “…wow it has been so long”. The development stirred up some excitement inside the auditorium as patrons watched the red carpet on screens inside The Dome.  ]]>
