So how and where did it all start for you?
I started training at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in September , last year, after a local businessman proposed the idea of representing Ghana at the Commonwealth games to me.
Why the interest?
Track sprinters such as Sir Chris Hoy and Gregory Bauge have been my inspiration to bring the sport of track cycling to Ghana.
How does it feel representing Ghana?
It’s a great honour to represent my country and I hope to put in a performance that will exemplify the excellence synonymous with Ghana.

Should we expect medals?
Unfortunately not, participating in the commonwealth games is part of my athletic development towards Rio 2016. However, anything can happen and I’ll do everything in my power to make Ghanaians proud.
