From being homeless to owning multimillion-dollar businesses, Everette Taylor tells it all
After his mother lost her job, Everette Taylor dropped out of school and eventually became homeless.
But through hard work, determination and persistence, he managed to turn his life around after saving enough to buy an application form to get back to school.
About 2 years ago he founded social media marketing software company PopSocial, which in its first year reported more than $2 million in revenue.
Clients include Anheuser-Busch, Microsoft and Hint Water. Also has served as CMO of rental-car delivery startup Skurt and is founder of marketing agency MilliSense, with clients such as Microsoft, NASA and Miller Lite.
Everette Taylor was recently in Ghana to get in touch with his roots and interact with the people in Ghana’s tech space. I caught up with him to talk about his inspiring story, the future of tech in Ghana and the opportunities therein.
