Ghanaian music artist and music connect, Smallgod has stated that despite having over 15 years experience in the music scene, he worked hard to get all the love he’s getting from big names in the music scene.

Smallgod, who only dropped official music as an artist in 2021, has featured more than 50 artists worldwide on two of his albums.

Smallgod’s rise in the music scene is quick, compared to other artists in the country who have to go through hell and high-water to get people to listen to their music.

In an interview with Ameyaw TV’s Zeinat explaining why it was easy for him to get big names like Tory Lanez, Vic Mensa, Tiwa Savage, Black Sherif, etc., to feature on his  albums, he stated;

“I fought for people, at the time when I was fighting DJs, all these people, it wasn’t for me, it was for my friends who were musicians. So I did the work so when I came infront with my idea of being a musician, everyone knew who I was before coming out. I actually worked for it”.
