I unfollowed everyone on Instagram because some people maligned me, and unfollowed me – Wendy Shay explains

Ghanaian songstress Wendy shay, who recently ended up unfollowing everyone on instagram, when news broke out that she unfollowed on-air media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay) over a comment the latter made about her, in a video has explained the reason behind her action.
According to the “Astalavista” singer, she realized some industry players had unfollowed her on instagram, when some people she worked with later ended up maligning her. So, she also didn’t see the need to follow them, including Delay whom she realized had unfollowed her too.
“Some people came to work with me in my early days in the industry, and when they left, they started spreading bad perception and Ideas about me…..I realized some people in the industry began to unfollow me, so there was no reason for me to also follow them,” Wendy Shay explained.
She stressed that people should not mince words in her reason for unfollowing Delay. But she realized Delay had unfollowed her over a year ago, before her decision to also unfollow her recently.
She added that henceforth, she’s going to follow her fans and those she thinks really love her genuinely, and check up on her.
“I’m going to follow my fans from now. My fans love me through thick and thin. People come at them because they support me…..Some people who genuinely check up on me, are the ones I’m going to follow,” Wendy Shay said.
