Ghanaian singer, OV has shared some horrific details about her life after her exit from the Burniton Music Group.

OV, who emerged winner of MTN Hitmaker in the year 2018 and was signed unto Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music, saw her dreams of making it big flash before her eyes after her contract was terminated after just one year.

According to OV, the termination of her contract by Stonebwoy really hit her hard and led her into a very depressed state.

OV, in an interview with Giovani Caleb revealed that the sack from her label caused her to have doubts which led her into depression.

“It was after the exit. It was something that hit me very hard. It got me thinking, ‘Am I not enough? It started giving me doubts about deserving to be on a label. It put me through some state that I will not wish for my enemy. It put me through a lot. I was depressed. It got to a point I stayed away from everybody,” she told Giovani.

Detailing her depression episode, OV revealed it got so bad that she had to be confined for two weeks.

“I was at a friend’s event. When I got there, I felt like something was not right. So I went out. I started feeling a burning sensation and wanted to take off my clothes.

“I was confined for two weeks. It got to a point where they gave me an overdose of the medicine, unknowingly, and I was paralyzed and drooling all over,” she shared.

OV’s sack from Burniton Music Group in the year 2019 came as a shock to many Ghanaians.

After she was relieved from the label, OV’s physical appearance on social media had people worried for her.

Although OV ignored all comments about her appearance at the time, she has finally opened up and is sharing more details.

After one or two attempts at a come back, OV has now released a brand new single titled “Shush,” in hopes to regain her place in the industry.
