I’m a public figure and my opinion matters, I will speak up more- King Promise

Legacy Life Entertainment signee, King Promise has promised to use his platform as a public figure to speak on a lot of issues going on in the country.

The “5 Star General” had, throughout his career, shied away from speaking on politics and general happenings in the country.

However, in an exclusive interview with Ameyaw TV, the “ChopLife” hitmaker explained he has grown over the years and is aware that his platform as a celebrated artist can help effect change.

“I’m human and I have my views, truly and truly, maybe my perception is beginning to change now but now I do recognise,” he told host Zeinat.

Speaking on some of the things that has caught his attention on social media which may have required a reaction from him, he sited the trending late Sir John story that broke last week.

“For instance, I woke up the other day and saw in the news about a man (Sir John) who had died and his properties were being shared. It’s a madness and I think our leaders need to better. People are suffering. If I King Promise is complaining about one or two things, I can imagine what my people at Nungua are going through,” he explained.

King Promise, who has now had a change of heart admits he “was young but he’s growing and his mentality is definitely changing.

King Promise is currently promoting his new single, “Ginger” off his soon to be released “5 Star” album.
