It is hypocritical to criticize us for not campaigning for Dumelo while you aren’t either – Prince David Osei

Actor Prince David Osei and some of his colleague actors and actresses have been criticized by many social media users following their refusal to campaign in favor of colleague actor, John Dumelo who is contesting the parliamentary seat at Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in this year’s election.

The expectation of these critics to seeing actors and actresses rally their support behind Dumelo, comes after the unfortunate statement made by the Minister for foreign affairs, Shirley Ayokor-Bothcwey.  The latter had said at an NPP rally at the Ayawaso West Wuogon that actors don’t deserve a place in parliament, since it is a place for seriously minded people.

Regardless, Prince explained that he has no business campaigning for his friend and colleague actor, Dumelo, since they both don’t belong to the same political side.

Nonetheless, these critics expect the actors and actresses either support Dumelo, or not rally support for Dumelo’s rival at the constituency their colleague actor is contesting, after the unfortunate statement from the Minister concerning actors seeking to enter parliament.

Prince on Instagram has responded that his critics, of whom some are actors and actresses, are only hypocrites. Because they are neither campaigning for Dumelo, but are only criticizing he and his other colleagues’ action, just to create enmity between them and Dumelo, yet they are not enemies.
