It's A London Thing: Ghana Party in the Park returns August 3!!!

iwanAkwaaba UK in partnership with Active Promotions and its nominated charity, Radiant Family Foundation, has announced Saturday 3rd August 2013 as the date for this year’s Party In The Park, the biggest family outdoor event in the UK.

In a release signed by the Event Coordinator of Akwaaba UK, Mr. Dennis Tawiah, the 2013 edition of Ghana Party In The Park is scheduled to take place at the Trent Park, Cockfoster Road (Cockfoster EN4 0PS) in London from 12noon.

 According to Mr. Tawiah, this year’s Party In The Park promises to be bigger and better and attendants will be treated to exciting performances from some of the best Ghanaian and UK based musicians.

 “Together with the London Borough of Enfield, we have put in place measures to ensure that the thousands of patrons from across the UK and Europe: Germany, France, Holland and Ghana are safe as they experience the excitement synonymous of the annual event.  

We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the success of the Ghana Party In The Park over the years and looking forward to a high participation this year. I encourage patrons to use public transport to the venue for ease and comfort as there are very limited parking bays in the area” he said.

  Other activities on the day will include Arts and Craft Exhibition, Cultural Troupe Dancing, Durbar of Chiefs, Live Band Music, Fashion Show, Face Painting, Bouncy Castles, Food, Drinks, Product Sales, Dance Competition, Live Donkey Rides and Aqua Bubble. Also, the Ghanaian High Commissioner to the UK, His Excellency Prof. Kwaku Danso-Boafa will address the Ghanaian Community at the event.   Ghana Party In The Park is recognized as the biggest African event marking the climax of the entertainment season for the African communities in the UK. It is a family fun day celebration which serves as a platform for over 6,000 Ghanaians and other African nationals to network and sell the rich Ghanaian culture to the rest of the world.
