Meanwhile Jackie has been creating some buzz with her performance in the new movie, ‘Death after Birth’ which is currently showing at the Silverbird cinemas in Accra. The tale of tragedy, pain and sorrow sees Jackie playing the emotional role of Zynell, who was born out a rape and also grew up to be a victim of rape.

The actress hinted that this may be her most challenging role yet since it called for her to go through a variety of emotions.  According to Jackie, when she first got the script she didn’t think she could play the character to the fullest. However she told herself that she has to keep challenging herself as an actress to improve her craft and also prove anyone that may have doubts about her abilities wrong.

Is this another award winning performance from the lovable actress? “I hope that I can get another award with this movie and a lots of my friends and fans hope so too. So I am praying that I do.”
