Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari and others honoured at African Women of Worth Awards

Launch of Queens Magazine in AccraQueens Magazine, a glossy publication that celebrates African women all over the world officially launched in Ghana with its second edition at the Holiday Inn Hotel over the weekend. The new issue which has Ghanaian star actress, Jackie Appiah on the cover features inspiring stories and interviews, the latest fashion trends, lifestyle and beauty tips. The launching ceremony which was attended by some A-Listers was accompanied by the African Women of Worth Awards (AWOWA) which saw the likes of Jakie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Gifty Anti, Becca, Beatrice Bee Arthur and others receiving honours for inspiring women and the younger generation in a positive light. The ceremony which also saw actor, Majid Michel making and appearance with his wife, also included a fashion exhibition, catwalk show, comedy and a live musical performance by singer, Bertha.
